Privacy Policy

Information you enter

Casework stores the projects, customer jobs, contact details, site information, attachments, shop profile, libraries, prices, and preferences you choose to enter. This information is used only to provide the app's design, estimating, planning, backup, and export features.

Casework does not require a Casework account and does not include advertising, cross-app tracking, or third-party analytics SDKs.

On-device storage

Casework stores your working data in the app's private container on your device. Other apps cannot browse that container. You decide when to create a backup, export, or share a file.

Optional iCloud Sync

If you turn on iCloud Sync, Casework sends the content needed to synchronize projects, jobs, attachments, and shop settings to your private Apple iCloud database. The developer does not operate a separate server for this data. Apple processes it under your iCloud agreement and Apple’s privacy terms.

Turning sync off leaves the local and iCloud copies in place. Settings > Backup & iCloud > Remove iCloud copy deletes Casework’s private cloud zone while keeping the local copy on this device.

Backups, exports, and support

Backup and export actions create files and open Apple's share sheet. Casework does not choose or monitor the destination. The privacy practices of Mail, Files providers, cloud drives, or other destinations you select are governed by those services.

If you contact support, the developer receives only the information you deliberately send. Remove customer or project information that is not needed to explain the problem.

Retention, deletion, and choices

Local projects and jobs remain until you delete them, replace them during a restore, or remove the app and its data. You can delete individual work inside Casework and can create a portable backup before doing so.

You may request access to or deletion of information you previously sent directly to support by emailing casework.app@gmail.com.

Security and changes

Casework uses Apple's application sandbox and CloudKit security controls. No method of electronic storage is completely risk-free, so keep a separate current backup of important work.

Material changes to this policy will be published with an updated effective date.
